“Secrecy and Synchronicity is an autobiography about sexuality—my emotional struggle related to coming out as a gay woman, and finding compassion; and spiritualism—my development of psychic ability and clairvoyance. The content is based on my personal journey from the age of five to fifty- three, spanning over five decades from the 1960s to 2013.”
About the Author . . .
Cherie Battista is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, and currently studying her PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Salford. Her interest and passion for writing began in childhood, and she created short stories and poetry based on autobiography. In 2011 she commenced an MA in Creative Writing: Innovation and Experiment at the University of Salford, and achieved a life long ambition when she graduated in 2013, with a Distinction in her final Creative Project. She continues to balance her time and attention between working as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and her PhD in Creative Writing.
